Bright-eyed and bushy-tailed we headed to Kufurstendamm, Berlin's answer to Oxford Street. This is the place to go if you love the high street. First stop was one of the multitude of H&M stores where they have started stocking all the exciting new autumn fashions. Walking down the Ku'damm as Berliners call it we spotted and I kid ye not about 5 different H&M stores. I bought a pair of speckled grey tights (12E) and a great bubble hem jersey skirt from the maternity section!

I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted C&A, the slightly naff chain store not seen on our shores since the late '90s. Sam and I hurriedly headed down to Clockhouse to check out what the chain had been up to for the last decade. Not much it seems as Clockhouse, the Deutsche version, seemed to be having a nu-metal moment with studded belts, Eurotrash diamanté jeans and distressed hoodies making up the bulk of their stock. As you can see we couldn't help moroning it up we were so excited at being in C&A, I bought some dice earrings (3,40E) and Sam got carried away with all the neon.
