How to wear sportswear...

Here at Catwalk Queen we rarely include sportswear or any news about it. Possibly because none of us are particularly concerned by sports, nevertheless it is still a big trend. This season has seen a rise in sportswear-inspired clothing especially since the launch of American Apparel in the UK. Celebs like Lily Allen are regularly seen combining sportswear items with dresses, for example prom dresses with a hoodie and trainers.

Above are a few key sports pieces that are easy to work into an everyday outfit. Amy Winehouse is regularly seen in vintage polo tops like the one pictured top, left (although this one is not vintage). Also, thick socks worn just peeping out the top of boots is a great way to keep your feet warm all winter!
