Yay or Nay Wednesday: the Petunia Swing Turtleneck from Anthropologie

Last week we were a bit torn on Jennifer Lopez's new look. Some of you agreed with me and thought the "dresses look unnatural on her", and some of you said that she looked "glam and elegant". This week's Yay or Nay comes courtesy of Anthropologie...

I love Anthropologie, however, this Petunia Swing Turtleneck is borderline frumpy. The flowers look they belong quilt on my grandma's bed, but I can see how it has potential. What do you ladies think?

Yay or Nay?

Yay! I love it! I think it would look great on someone with long brown hair and a chunky fringe (ala irina lazareanu) , teamed with a pair of black skinnies and some chunky wedges xx

Nay: the drab base color, thick knit, and baggy cut will likely make this unflattering when worn. It might do okay if a belt is added, however.

Yay, but it would give me a tremendous boob shelf. Instead, offer this to a svelte leggy girl to pair with some skinny trousers and heels.

    NAY!!!

Take away the AWFUL looks-good-on-noone neckline and change the sleeves a little and I reckon it would be okay... still only okay though.

The torso looks like it's cut well, and I'm a sucker for embroidery, but this garment is just wrong I'm afraid.
