Yay or Nay Wednesday: Has Jenny from the Block gone too demure?

Last week we noticed a bit of a similarity between the way that Jada Pinkett Smith and Victoria Beckham dressed at The Cruises' welcome party for the Beckhams in LA. This week, I'd like to know what you ladies think about Jennifer Lopez's recent fashion choices...

Jenny from the Block looks rather demure, doesn't she? I think Jennifer Lopez makes excellent fashion choices, but these dresses - and her love affair with Marchesa - just seem to strip her of her edge. Do you think she looks lovely, and glam? Or do you think she's lost her street cred and looks too "wifey"?

JLo looks elegant in the white dress, which is a nice change from her previous fashion style. However, the other dress really takes it too far. She just looks frumpy, and the color of the dress and her hair for that look just doesn't fit her.

I think those dresses look unnatural on her. They are pretty and all but it looks like she's trying so hard. I don't particularly like what she wore before either though. People say she's a style icon but I don't find she carries clothes well. Something is always off about the way she's styled and I'm not sure what. Maybe it's the too much hair/make-up/dress combo. Both dresses look so pretty on her, but in the end it's just wrong!
