If you love high kicks as much as you love Hermès then the idea of The Devil Wears Prada musical must be... erm... music to your ears. Over at Fashionista, the idea of the novel-turned-film hitting Broadway seems possible with it being in preliminary development to become a stage musical. Anyone for witnessing 'Andy' Sachs doing jazz hands or Miranda Priestly singing impromptu monologues? Would you pay to see that?
I know I would if not for the would-be amazing wardrobe. It's got me thinking... what other fashion-led films would I like to see accompanied by back up dancers and catchy numbers. What with Desperately Seeking Susan set to become a West End musical, which iconic fashion film would you like to see on stage?
