Rihanna's ever-changing style to promote the MTV Music Awards
My favourite thing about music award shows isn't the rambling acceptance speeches, the crazy performances or the fake smiles when people lose out to their rivals - it is, of course, the outfits.
This year's MTV Video Music Awards aren't due to air until September 9th, but the promotional shots mean that we can already get in the mood for them. Famous photographer David LaChappelle has photographed a number of stars for the shots, including Kanye West, Fall Out Boy and, of course, Rihanna. This time she's dressed as a sort of '80s punk princess; with a mixture of pink lipstick, big hair, pink flouncy dress and... erm... lacy black fingerless gloves! Hmm... I wonder which famous music icon influenced the theme of this shoot?
