I've worked with a bunch of gadget girls for a long time, and since they think I'm the biggest geek in the entire office, it doesn't surprise me that technology companies are moving away from the traditional 'boys toys' market and choosing to advertise in the glossies instead. The bumper September issue of UK Vogue features a Philips ad in the form of a fashion shoot - Lanvin clothes, expensive jewels and all. The shoot by Vincent Peters in inspired by the idea of being seduced by light, and launches the 'Aurea', a light-framed TV that looks more like an art installation than what I'm used to watching Ugly Betty on!
