Black ostrich feathers... they're certainly not for everyone but on the right person they apparently do work. When I first saw Mary-Kate Olsen in this full-length Rita Watnick at Lily et Cie gown with Alaïa belting (above, left) at the MET Costume Institute Gala back in May, I loved it. The drama, the glamour, the cinched-in waist; even on her tiny frame it looked amazing. Then yesterday Delta Goodrem fronts up to a fashion launch in Sydney (above, right) wearing a similar dress only a shorter. Once again, I adore how she is wearing it with a black pair of tights and shiny boot-style heels. To wear a piece like this is fashion at its most adventurous.
