Two new advertising campaigns for fragrances have been recently released featuring Keira Knightley and Britney Spears. They've hit our radar because both celebs are sporting new looks. Firstly, Keira is appearing in new advertising for Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle fragrance in virtually nothing except a bowler hat (click here for more pictures). The Daily Mail notes it is a different look for the demure star of films such as Pride and Prejudice and Pirates of the Caribbean but this isn't the first time Knightley has shed her clothes for the cameras. She once stripped down for a Vanity Fair photo-shoot alongside Tom Ford and Scarlett Johansson.
Meanwhile, Britney Spears has popped up to promote her latest fragrance Believe for Elizabeth Arden and looking rather... different. The campaign has come under fire for falsely representing the troubled singer, so much so that Elizabeth Arden has been forced to issue a statement denying the use of a body double.
"It is true Britney did leave the set; however, she returned after a brief time. We used Cayli (Britney's assistant) as a stand-in so we could set up the lighting while Britney was off the set," said a spokesperson for the fragrance company. "When Britney returned, we shot the ad. The only person in the national print ad for Britney's Believe Fragrance is Britney Spears".
While it may be Britney in the shot, I think you'll agree that the image is either an old one or it has been heavily airbrushed. What's your opinion?
