A minute out of Liverpool’s Lime Street Station, armed with our Sony Vaio laptop, we stumble upon one of the country’s few standalone ‘George’ shops, complete with a larger-than-life Coleen McLoughlin advertisement in the window. It’s an apt introduction to a city known as the WAG capital of the country, but you’d be mistaken to think that the ‘pool is just about cut-price celebrity style, Beatles memorabilia and Cavalli-filled designer boutiques. And I don’t say this because I’m ¼ Scouse…
All day we'll be reporting from shops across the European Capital of Culture (no, really), so keep an eye out for our updates!
12.00pm - It's lunchtime and we've already started to hit Cavern Walks with Drome & Drome Couture our first stop.
1.30pm - We pay a visit to Cricket (aka WAG central) to see what designer items they currently have on offer!
2.30pm - Next, we swung by the Vivienne Westwood boutique. Check out our video interview with Richard, the store manager.
3.30pm - What a busy day! Even so, we managed a quick stroll down Liverpool's Church Street which will soon see the opening of a massive new Primark.
4.30pm - We made our way to Bold Street to go to Flashback Boutique, a veritable treasure trove of fashion finds!
5.30 pm - Still in Bold Street, we've just left the quirky Microzine and we're heading home!
