CQ Live: Brighton's Lanes, Yamama

Yamama, ethical boutique clothes at high-street prices
yamama.jpg
One of the first shops we encountered in the North Laines was Yamama, a reasonably priced shop offering boutique individuality at high-street prices. Daniel the lovely manager was on hand to give advice and happily agreed to star in the video with us! The Yamama label clothes are created in close collaboration with the same factory owner Raymond Buckler has been working with for years. Raymond gets his influences from tropical Bali which shows up in the vibrant designs. Apart from the Yamama label they stock Emily and Finn, Supreme Being, Cheateauroux, Girls Who Like Boys and Lazy Oaf. We were both smitten with the cap-sleeved multi-stripe dress (£34, pictured left) and I was lusting after the Emily and Finn strapless dress modelled by Laura (£35).

Oooh, I'm so glad you're doing this - I love Brighton. On a side note (and probably a nothing to do with you note, too, but I'm not sure who to ask), I signed up on the Shiny Fashion Forums about three days ago but never got the confirmation Email so I could finish registration, does anyone know why that would happen?
