Chrissie Hynde to sue Hogan

Animal rights activist and singer Chrissie Hynde has hit back at handbag brand Hogan after they named a new ponyskin bag 'The Chrissie'. The bag, which is rock chick-inspired, was branded "outrageous and thoughtless" by Hynde.
Speaking to The Scoop she explained her decision to sue. "I never thought I'd be moved to consider filing a lawsuit, but as soon as I heard my name was being used to promote bags made of dead-animal skin, I started exploring my legal options with my friends at PETA."

Don't get me wrong, I'm certainly not advocating the use of fur or hides...but what? Is she the only Chrissie in the world? Did she copyright a common first name? Just another example of a gratuitous mis-use of our already over-loaded judicial system. Ridiculous. I hope the judge lets her have it...
