Yay or Nay Wendesday: Dita Von Teese and the teeny-tiny corset

I know we that most of us here on Catwalk Queen love Dita Von Teese. However, seeing pictures of her, with her body squished into a teeny-tiny corset makes me shudder. What do you ladies think of corsets?

Do you think that they look fabulous, are just another way of "suffering for fashion", and that squishing yourself into a corset is no different than shoving your foot into a stiletto? Or do you think that this is disgusting, unglamorous, and a horrible thing to do to your body?

Corsets are the most wonderful invention known to man. They are beautiful and come in so many styles that they cannot be classified under BDSM or plain Victorian. I have a corset and it's my favourite piece of clothing, it's supportive which is wonderful for my back which is slightly sway and it gives me confidence.

Not only do i love them for myself, but i fully support Dita in wearing them. We ALL know how beautiful her body is and how thin and healthy she is, and i believe this makes corsets appropriate for her because she is a perfect weight and isn't using eating disorders as an advantage, she's using clothing which looks gorgeous and also further promotes her 'look'.

Yes, i love models like Betty Page and Dita Von Teese in particular, so i am into this type of thing, but i think it's wonderful. I love corsettry.

i am a fan of corsets myself i have recnetly just

purchased one from a corset shop in illinois i have always love the look the corset gives and was always

jealous of the person wearing one. they are so expensive that if i was going to get one i wanted it to be a good one i have worn it out a few times because of my lifestyle i cant wear it sll the time but when i do wear it i get alot of coments on how nice it looks and it is an attention getter from male and female people.

i am a female and love the feel of it when on

i paid around 350.00 for it.

Corsets rule, they hide all those untidy bits that we all have... only problem is, you can't dare eat while your wearing it... other wise no issue and Dita is the best...
