Last week CQ reported on Diane Von Furstenberg's legal battle with high street retailer Topshop and it seems she's not the only one getting annoyed. More than 1000 £35 copies of the £185 Chloe dungaree dress have been removed from Topshop stores across the country and they have been forced to pay £12,000 compensation and legal costs to Chloé.
Chloé are keen to emphasise their determination in the battle against counterfeit items, implying that they will be applying a zero-tolerance policy to the high street.
Sir Philip Green told The Times, "We paid them £12,000 without any admission over whether it was or it wasn't [a copy]. We felt it was easier to do that and get on with the rest of our lives."
The issues of fakes continues to cause an increasing problem throughout the fashion world.
