Sophia Kokosalaki for Topshop
Sophia Kokosalaki's collection for Topshop has finally reached the website and I'm a little underwhelmed.
The silk dress (top left) is pretty, but I'd rather pay that price for an interesting cut in polyester chiffon than what is a fairly ordinary shape in silk. The bandeau dress features seamed cups which are making a big comeback and the ruffly crinkly fabric is good for adding volume without looking too girly. The blouse is more interesting with its cutaway panels and pintucks, but again isn't anything spectacularly amazing especially for the price. My favourite piece in the collection is the twisted hem skirt because it's closest to Kokosalaki's artful drapery and what I imagined the range would look like. See after the jump for product details.
