Sad news today that one of my favourite Aussie designers Heidi Middleton and Sarah-Jane Clarke of Sass & Bide have decided to pull out of New York Fashion Week in September. After what was a successful season in New York earlier this year, the designer duo have cancelled their scheduled show following Middleton's recent battle with cancer.
Middleton was diagnosed earlier this year with breast cancer shortly after the birth of her second child and requires ongoing chemotherapy. According to FWD, despite not appearing in September the duo will return to New York in November and get their show back on the catwalk next February. I look forward to seeing the girls make a tremendous comeback!
