Colored skinny jeans were in and out for quite a while this year, following the trail set forth by the trendy bottoms of Kate Moss-ians and Victoria Beckham-eesians. Despite huge hype by WWD, Who What Wear and Top Shop, most non-celeb girls couldn't quite handle the fashion leap required by bright skinnies. Now, Neiman Marcus is trying the whole thing one more time - but this time, they'd like to experiment with cropped jeans, wide-leg trousers and mini-skirts. Also new to the mix: pastel colors, taupe, and lots and lots of white. Are these tamer colored jeans any more appealing than the bright red skinnies we've seen on Kate and Posh? Will they help cultivate a market for anything besides blue denim? Time will tell.
