While Jessica Simpson's debut swimwear collection may have closed Miami Swim 2008, I just had to do one last post about Miami Swim, on Australian swimwear label Zimmermann. Designing sisters, Nicole and Simone Zimmermann wanted to bring “the cool Bondi girl to Miami”, and did it with ease with the sunkissed models and brightly coloured bikini’s you would often see on the beaches of Bondi. With their collection full 60s and 70s style silhouettes in bright fun colours, it was obvious that they stuck to what they’re best at – clever cuts and bold prints.

What was a slight let down was some of the white bikini’s with pale blue prints – if made from cotton the pieces could work better as underwear. Other than that, it was a well put together swim wear collection that didn't feature stripes and polka dots like many of the other designers showing in Miami.
