She’s a sixties icon known for her high hemlines back in her hey day, but 57 year old Lulu knows when to stop showing off too much skin. In a time where women in their fifties wear revealing leotards in music videos, it is refreshing to hear that Lulu admitting that she knows when to be less revealing. "I do have to be careful - everything has to be age-appropriate," she told the Daily Express. "I've realised, sadly, I can't do miniskirts now."
As long as we’re not deprived of gamine Lulu from the 1960s in photographs, I’m glad one older lady is prepared to put it away like Diane Keaton. Lulu has managed to keep her body a perfect size 8 by toning it at yoga classes and regularly going on long walks with her dogs.
