Lou Doillon: Steal her style
I don't know about anybody else but I'm getting a bit fed up with British style icons. I haven't been inspired by any recent pap shots so have begun searching across the channel for style inspiration. Lou Doillon is so uber cool in France right now, even her wikipedia description makes her sound cool, "Lou Doillon is the daughter of film director Jacques Doillon and singer-actress Jane Birkin. Her half-sisters are actress Charlotte Gainsbourg and photographer Kate Barry."
Being the daughter of Jane Birkin must put fashion expectations pretty high! Doillon pulls it off and her style is a bit like a French Kate Moss (except more chic). She is rarely seen without skinny jeans and often teams them with a jacket such as a biker jacket (seen here), or a military coat.
I have put together an outfit to copy her style. Other items she is often seen with include skinny fit lumberjack shirts, and braces.
Later this year sees the release of 'Sisters' in which Doillon stars alongside equally as cool Chloe Sevigny.
