Eek! I know J.Crew makes really pretty, classic wedding and bridesmaids dresses, but since when did J.Crew offer full blown US$1000 gowns? They even had a US$1950 offering, the Genevieve silk radzimir gown, but it has sold out since I last looked at it this morning! The US$1000 limited edition Lillian duchesse satin gown, on the other hand, is still available, and totally stunning. J.Crew breathlessly describes it as "a once-in-a-lifetime dress, elegant and luxurious in the finest Italian duchesse silk satin from a mill known around the world for its incredible bridal fabrics." Ooo.. I'm not getting married anytime soon, and I've never caught browsing bridal magazines, but I'm ooooo-ing!
