Italian Vogue pushes the boundaries with Britney Spears style 'Rehab' shoot
Recognise this picture? You would be forgiven for thinking that Britney has gone off the rails again but it's in fact part of a fashion story in this month's Italian Vogue which took inspiration from her recent troubles. Shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel, the shoot also looked to film One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest for guidance. However the recent antics of Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and their other celebrity cohorts had an obvious heavy influence. For example, models were photographed flashing their bits while getting out of cars, yelling at paparazzi and trying to hide behind big floppy hats. Of course, all of this was done in threads by Fendi, Chloé, Chanel and Miu Miu.

The location for this tongue-in-cheek shoot was appropriately Los Angeles, home to some of the most celeb riddled rehab clinics. I think Steven Meisel's work is genius and though some may find it a little too close to the bone, I love the irony behind this shoot and feel this could only of been topped if Kate Moss had been drafted to add a touch of realism, twisted I know.
