Today is the birthday of pop singer and reality TV star Jessica Simpson in which she turns 27. In the year since her last birthday, Simpson has divorced ex husband Nick Lachey, had an on/off relationship with singer-songwriter John Mayer, went from a bubbly blonde to a sultry brunette with a short 'do in between and has caused speculation about weight gain and loss, although I personally think this is the result of poor wardrobe choices.
She's not afraid of looking super sexy by showing off a bit of leg in a pair of hotpants (above, left) or a good dose of cleavage in a daring Roberto Cavalli gown (above, centre) but she looks her best when she goes retro in fifties-inspired dresses that compliment her figure and make her look like a modern day Sandra Dee (above, right and far right).
Also keep an eye out for Simpson's new swimwear range which is due to debut at Miami Fashion Week this week!
