Gavin Pierre Medford set to recreate Jimi Hendrix's wardrobe for new biopic
British designer Gavin Pierre Medford has just scored an unbelievable job - to recreate Jimi Hendrix's colourful wardrobe for a new biopic based on the former rocker's life. The film's directors have commissioned the designer to study Hendrix's clothing for the new film which is yet-to-be titled.
A graduate from the London College of Fashion, Medford was awarded the Best Street Wear award last year at the UK Fashion awards. "I'm very excited about working on the Jimi Hendrix biopic. He was a true innovator of both music and fashion and I am looking forward to becoming part of his legacy," he said. [source]
