Yesterday three of the hottest young names in London fashion got together to celebrate the t-shirts they've designed for Uniqlo. Kim Jones, Gareth Pugh and Cassette Playa's Carrie Mundane were at the sneak preview which was held in the uber cool Shoreditch House in East London. They showed and discussed their designs over a champagne breakfast.
Kim Jones, menswear designer of the year, explained that he got introduced to the project by close friend Nicola Formichetti (fashion editor at Dazed and Confused magazine).
"I took inspiration from S'express. I was thinking about Mark Moore quite a lot when I was doing it." Jones' design (pictured) includes lyrics, "There are lyrics from Mantra for a state of mind and other songs that are my favourites. Its really just about having fun."
The t-shirts will be available from Uniqlo on 1st November but waiting lists are now open; call 020 8247 9200 to put your name down.
