I watched Breathless, the seminal Jean-Luc Godard film last night and was struck by Jean Seberg's style. I'm already a big fan of her beatnik inspired outfits of skinny cropped pants and stripy tops but I never noticed how chic and 'girl-about-town' she looked. Starting with a CandySays '60s dress the addition of a cropped trench gives a smart look. A contrasting bag and Naughty Secretary Club bracelet add interest and quirkyness to the outfit, while the pumps and earrings pick out the rust colour in the dress and trench buttons giving a bit of polish to the look.
