Similar to the rumours of a collaboration between Beth Ditto and Topshop which resulted in nothing, so it seems is the case with New Look. A spokesperson for the company has denied that any such collaboration is on the cards after The Sun reported that Ditto was in talks with New Look about creating her own range. "It’s a misunderstanding,” said the spokesperson. “We did send Beth some clothes samples as gifts, as we do many celebs, but we have had no contact with her at all. I think she may have received the clothes and misunderstood.”
I must say that as a Ditto fan, this is starting to bug me. First no Topshop range and now New Look! While launching her own line has raised a few eyebrows so far, regardless of her size, I think she has a strong sense of style which anyone would be silly not to snap up. [source]
