Tunic shirt/dress: Solo or "supposed wear some pants with that?"

tunicdressshirt.JPG
Err, maybe I'm the only one... but when I'm physically shopping at a store and I don't have helpful photos to show me how to wear the item, I tend to pick up a tunic and think - "I'm holding a cute, short dress". I wear it out, flash a bit of leg until my friend yanks me aside and whispers, aghast - "aren't you supposed to wear some bottoms with that?"

Look at these and tell me they're not cute little dresses! If you don't believe me then check out this huge selection from Revolve Clothing. You decide - are these tunics a tiny dress or a long shirt? Does it look better with some sexy skinny jeans, or solo? And one last thing... You can't cheat by basing your decision on whether the model is wearing bottoms or not...

The real answer is that you can wear whatever clothing you have in any way you want, so it doesn't really matter what the label says it is. If you're short and have great gams, wear the tunic solo. If you're way too tall (whoever you are, I'm jealous of you!) then tug on some skinny jeans or leggings (a la Cameron Diaz). For more great tunic shirts/dresses (and to ID some of the ones I've posted) check out the huge selection at Revolve Clothing.
