I missed out on the Philip Lim for Uniqlo linen dress and since then have been mentally making one (seems to be the only kind of sewing I do these days!) taking my cues from all the people sporting the dress at Graduate Fashion Week. When I saw this Topshop silk mix dress (£75) though my brain stopped imaginary sewing for a minute and thought hmm, now how soon is payday? It is quite bulky but a pair of heels and a bit of a tan will soon put paid to that, and the dove white colour is very flattering. I'm being drawn to a lot more minimal things at the moment and this dress would make a perfect addition to my wardrobe.
