Tom Ford opened his new boutique in New York, recently, and while the store does have its fans, it's also been attracting its fair share of criticism, with visitors comparing the black-painted interior and matching curtains to "a crematorium". Nice. The prices have also come under fire from some quarters: with the cheapest item available (a pair of socks) costing $75, and the most expensive (a dressing gown) $3,900, it's not the cheapest place in the world to shop, but then, it's Tom Ford - what were people expecting, I wonder?
