The whirlwind of publicity for the fifth Harry Potter film - Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix - began today with a news conference on the banks of the river Thames in London. With both the new film and the final book (Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows) being released within weeks of each other, get ready for a Summer of Pottermania...and get used to these faces! Now all grown up (well, almost) original cast members Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint were joined by Katie Leung (who first appeared in Harry Potter & The Goblet Of Fire as Cho Chang) and Evanna Lynch (joining the cast to play Luna Lovegood) for these publicity shots.
With Emma an old pro on the red carpet now (one ageing frilly Chanel nightmare aside) the new girls have a lot to live up to, being thrown into a huge media circus at a tricky age, knowing all tweenage (and teenage) eyes are on them. They may only be teenagers, but - because Harry Potter is such big business - these kids are already icons who'll be both adored and torn apart by fans.
Katie, who plays Harry's love interest in the film, proved her style savviness last time around, turning up at the last Potter premiere in Matthew Williamson and doing the rounds of photocalls and interviews dressed in various quirky takes on the latest trends. And it would seem she hasn't lost her touch. I love that she hasn't gone for a safe option, despite knowing she's opening herself up for criticism from every jealous Daniel Radcliffe fan on the earth (and there are a LOT, after those Equus photos). Somehow she pulls off the sweet embroidered dress and coloured tights with aplomb, looking ethereal and pretty but still young and fun.

Meanwhile, new girl Evanna Lynch is obviously chanelling her character's crazy fashion sense in real life, too. With long hair extensions, a nose ring, a tatty looking cardigan, oversized paperbag waist tapered trousers and vans trainers, she's the posterchild for modern, Marc Jacobs-esque grunge. It may not be everyone's idea of high style, but I'm not going to bitch about a 15-year-old having fun! Good on you girl, if you can't do it at 15, when can you? [images: Getty]
