Despite enjoying huge success and fanfare in Europe, Jovovich-Hawk wasn't too familiar to Cali girls. But since JH's Los Angeles launch back in March, these pieces are now available all over the place and are regularly stocked by online retailers such as Yoox and Shopbop. The 'Odetta' romper (US$425)and the 'Cookie' dress (US$610) are two of my favorites from the collection. These two pieces show off glam gams (a la Cameron Diaz) without being over-the-top revealing. Comfortable, lightweight, sweet - yet sexy! The romper, by all appearances, seems like a dress but offers the safety and comfort of shorts, while the 'Cookie' hugs curves and creates a womanly shape without being skintight or revealing. But beware - both are back-bearing and require a certain amount of poise to pull off. Dare to look a little different than the typical Cali girl wearing a teensy, skintight dress and giant sunglasses, and strut your stuff in these flowy, romantic JH pieces.
