Renée Zellweger named as face of Saks Fifth Avenue's 2007 Key to the Cure campaign

It was today announced by Saks Fifth Avenue and the Entertainment Industry Foundations (EIF) that Renée Zellweger will be the ambassador of their 2007 Key to the Cure campaign.
Key to the Cure is a women’s cancer initiative founded in partnership with EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund. Zellweger explained why she wanted to get involved, "We’ve all been touched by cancer in some way and unfortunately one out of four women will be diagnosed with cancer in her lifetime.”
To fulfill her role, the Bridget Jones star will wear this year’s Key to The Cure T-shirt designed by Juicy Couture in promotional materials and on a national public service announcement.
“Saks Fifth Avenue is the leading retailer for this type of philanthropic outreach,” said Stephen I. Sadove, CEO of Saks Inc. “Key to the Cure is one of the most important initiatives that our company supports.”
