Ralph Lauren collects CFDA Fashion Legend award

We discussed the red carpet fashion but what we didn't tell you is who won an award at this week's CFDA Fashion Awards. As previously reported, Ralph Lauren collected the American Fashion Legend award, the first of its kind, from presenter Oprah Winfrey (pictured left). He also picked up a second gong for Menswear Designer of the Year. Other designers to walk away smiling were Derek Lam, who was awarded the Accessory Designer of the Year Award from Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs. The Swarovski Award for Womenswear went to Phillip Lim and the International Award was bestowed upon Pierre Cardin.
