PVC - can it really go from fetish to fashionable?

I feel like there is some sort of fashion conspiracy currently going on in the world. Firstly, Kate Moss was seen wearing skin-tight PVC trousers at Glastonbury and now Victoria Beckham was spotted at the Spice Girls reunion photocall in similar trousers. What on earth is going on?

I was under the illusion that PVC was the sole domain of fetishists and the fashionably challenged. So what do you think? Is this going to catch on among the size zero ladies, or even worse us ordinary folk? Or should it stay in seedy shop-fronts like we're used to?

Pvc or Vinyl and even Latex pants are extremely **HOT** That is the new "old" fashion. Supermodels and fashion designers are making them a huge comeback. Look for them everywhere. They go with everything and everywhere. When you wear it you take on a whole new attitude. a badass... Go out get yourself a pair even two and wear them you will see.

I hope it comes to fashion as soon as possible since it's extremely beautiful.I own a pair of very tight shiny PVC trousers and I wear it to club most of the time.It gets hot and sweaty after an hour or so but I just like the figure and the way it looks...

I think PVC looks chick and fabulous since it is shiny and beautiful.I admit it sometimes gets hot and sweaty but you must pay to be beautiful.

I hope PVC pants never come back. All I could think of when I saw Kate schlepping in the mud at Glastonbury, dragging Pete along side of her, was the mud improves how the pants/tights/ torture device look. Maybe Kate put the pants on to distract from how heavy it is for her bony bod to prop up Albion's ghost.
