In a blend of Coutorture and Technorati, MySpace has begun the beta version of a Fashion News section, "collecting headlines from top fashion sites and blogs from all over the net." (Woo, I see Catwalk Queen as a few listings, there!) Like Coutorture, the entries are subject to a rating system through which users can vote and thus rank the headlines/blog posts, so that the "top news" features will be driven by the opinions of average joes like you and I. Its still in the very early stages of beta testing, but thus far I'm not impressed. It lacks pictures to draw me in (yes, I'm 5 years old), variety, or deep search options. While I'm proud to see Catwalk Queen posts on it, I think I'll stick with Google News, keyword: fashion, for now.
