Lanvin green satin cape dress

It's not time for one of Cate's Frock Horrors and anyway I quite like this dress! Maybe it's my unwavering love for Alber Elbaz or the fact that I fancy myself as a superhero but this Lanvin cape dress from Browns rocks. What other outfit would be simultaneously suitable for a black tie evening do and saving the world?
The dark green is perfect for hiding stains and I'm pretty sure the satin makes it aerodynamic. I'd wear it with patent platforms, chunky perspex jewellery and a can of pepper spray. At £655 it's quite expensive, but as it has a double purpose the dress becomes economical, no?
