55323474.jpg Many a eulogy has been posted on the internet for Isabella Blow, with 250 of her friends attended the funeral service in Gloucestershire last month. Now a memorial service will be held during London Fashion Week in September for 750 guests – which could mean that the editors of the major fashion titles will come to LFW this season.

"Some of Isabella's close friends couldn't come to the funeral, and we thought it was so apt [to hold the service during London Fashion Week]," said Ali Chiu, Blow's former assistant. "It would be so fitting for Issie if the service brings people to London Fashion Week, so it helps young designers."

According to WWD.com, in a effort to cement Blow’s reputation as a champion of new design talent, her widower Detmar Blow is planning to establish a grant for young designers' in her name so she can support more up and coming fashion talents for years to come.

This will accompany a permanent exhibition show casing her vast wardrobe which includes museum worthy pieces like Alexander McQueen's entire graduate collection, couture pieces that she would wear daily and her signature Philip Treacy hats. There are plans to either create a museum for the collection or take it around the world.
