The momentum is building towards Graduate Fashion Week and yesterday it was the turn of final year students from the London College of Fashion to prove their sartorial mettle.

The show saw students confidently tackling a diverse range of trends. Leading the way in urban style was Esme Tuersley whose silver and cobalt blue men’s sportswear epitomised Saturday night glam for the discerning rude boy.

Linda Impey showed a collection of women’s wear that proved a refreshing contrast to the usual student fare of rubberised dresses with lashings of PVC. Her light-as-a-feather Grecian style silk dresses with a restrained classical horse print looked at once sexy, feminine and (crucially) wearable.
