Frock Horror Of The Week: Emma Watson

Little Hermione Granger is all growed up. All grown up and therefore old enough to make her own horrendous fashion decisions.

This frock she wore to the Raisa Gorbachev Foundations Second Annual Gala Dinner in Hampton Court Palace this past weekend is anything but magical. Between the mangled bird feathers, and the Harry Potter scar on the bodice, it really almost looks home-made. Emma Watson, you are much too lovely to make such hideous fashion choices!

She should be in a little flippy frock in a lovely colour - maybe she's under a spell?

strangely, i kind of like it... she isn't a trend-whore and she makes it work. i think she pulled it off quite well.

I absolutely love her hair but that dress is unforgivably awful. Do you know who it's by? What on earth was going through her head!? The poor girl!

Posted by: cassandra | June 7, 2007 10:50 PM

Well, the girl has never really been fashionable.

What circle of 80's feathered hell did she stumble out of? But on the upside, I just realized that facially, she resembles a young Ann-Margret.

....And this is why the poor girl was seriously considering leaving the HP movies. Dont post about kids, i'm sure there was someone older, and hardier who was at the same event you could have showcased. She cant take the knocks, thats obvious. And people shouldnt feel inclined to post negatively about a child, take a look in your own photoalbums, I bet there are some corkers.

Leave her alone, and pick on someone your own size.

Poor little thing - she's making enough HP dough that her parents should hire her a stylist. Adorable child, hideous dress.

She's 17, will you please stop calling her a child? That's probably more offensive to her than saying her dress is ugly. If she were 15, youth might give her the benefit of the doubt. I think she's old enough to know better, no? Hope she wears something fabulous for the premiere!! Oh, and catwalk queen - how is it that if she were wearing this on the street of london, she'd get an i love what you're wearing badge of approval???

Posted by: eclair | June 8, 2007 11:13 PM

Well, at least she's making her own mistakes, and not leaving a stylist to do her thinking for her.

She wouldn't get an I love what you're wearing badge. At least not from me.
