Forever 21 to launch "luxe" cheap-chic Twelve by Twelve stores

Love it or hate it for "cheap chic" clothes that may or may not fall apart, Forever 21 is pretty much a staple in every mall across the US. After experiencing success with expanding lines, like Heritage 1981 (which, err, seems to look exactly like all the other F21 stuff), the company is launching a spin off collection, Twelve by Twelve. Supposedly, this stuff will be more sophisticated and "luxed-up" than the endless racks of nylon/spandex/cotton knock-offs bathed under fluorescent lights that we're used to, but every bit of clothing will still cost less than US$100.

My friends all wrinkle their noses in distaste when I want to browse a F21 store, but personally, I'm grateful for a store with a massive collection of fleetingly trendy stuff. It means I get to take risks on styles I normally wouldn't wear and expand my tastes a little bit. Twelve by Twelve will debut as a boutique inside some of the biggest F21s such as the one in San Francisco, and eventually open its very own store fronts in select locations around California. For those of you across the pond, keep your eyes peeled for the soon-to-launch twelvebytwelve.com website.

F21 has a little something for everyone. I'm excited to see what the new line brings.

Forever 21 is the greatest - it allows women who don't earn enough salary to live the lux life the ability wear trendy, adorable things. I say "hooray" for the new line!
