Erin Fetherston to design for Target

The Paris-based designer may have only debuted in Spring 2005 but she has already been snapped up by Target for a collection sometime soon. Following in the footsteps of Proenza Schouler and Behnaz Sarafpour Erin Fetherston (pictured left) will be joining Libertine and Alice Temperley in the latest round of designer Target collections. Erin recently moved most of her operation to New York saying: “It made sense to take that last step and bring our samples and atelier here. I’m not walking away from Paris, but it’s more efficient to work in New York.” “There’s a certain mystique and charm about living in Paris that she certainly wants to keep going,” said Greg Mills, head of press for Featherston.
