71940037.jpgAfter three seasons, Bella Freud has said goodbye to Biba the cult label which rose to fame in the Sixties. The news comes as it was announced that she will go ahead with her own namesake label to be unveiled at London Fashion Week this September. “She is choosing to focus her energy and attention on her own label and other upcoming projects," said her publicist.

In addition to a catwalk show, her new range which will feature luxe cashmere and elegant t-shirts, will also be on display in a collaborative exhibition with model and photographer Elle Muliarchyk. Freud has also designed a diffusion collection for Dover Street Market consisting black sweaters with different images of cats on them, inspired by paintings Freud had seen of the felines. Despite her exit, I look forward to seeing what her own label will produce. [source; image: Getty]
