Audrey Hepburn's 'Tiffany's' frock sells for £95,000

I was only drooling after Audrey Hepburn's wardrobe in Breakfast at Tiffany's the other night as I watched it on dvd for the umpteenth time, when today I hear that the pink cocktail dress that she wore in the movie sold for £95,000 (US$192,000) at auction in New York. That's six times more than its estimated value. Even so, it didn't quite sell for as much as the iconic black dress Hepburn wore in the same movie, which sold at auction in London in December last year for a whopping £410,000! What I'd give to get within just an inch of either of these pieces. Such a wonderful film, such magnificent clothes. I'll keep dreaming... [Images: Christie's; IMDB]
