Celebrity swappers from left to right: Giles Deacon, Naomi Campbell, Phoebe Philo, Kylie Minogue
There are a whole host of different ways of getting a new wardrobe these days, from charity shopping, to eBay and now swapping is the latest alternative to shopping. Visa Swap is an event taking place from today where you bring your clothes and collect points based on their covetability. London-based CQers can head to Knightsbridge until the 10th June to swap their clothes and from 10am on the weekend of 16th you can root through everyone else's cast-offs in search of treasure!

The expected calibre of clothing is pretty high, with clothing being divided into vintage, quality high street and designer; what's more celebs have been lining up to trade their cast-offs. Kylie, Phoebe Philo, Naomi Campbell are among the famous donors, and designers such as Alice Temperley, Gina shoes, Bella Freud and Giles Deacon have also handed over goodies. It's a great opportunity to revamp your wardrobe if you have any designer items that you don't wear anymore. Any clothes that don't make the cut can be deposited in TRAID's recycling bins. "It is possible to look fantastic without buying new clothes and is really important to encourage sustainable fashion activity!" said Maria Chenoworth-Casey, chief exec of TRAID.
