The return of cycling shorts

So, over a year ago when Kate Moss just decided to wear leggings we all admitted that she looked good but scoffed at the suggestion that we might all do the same. I declared my hate for leggings, especially after seeing everybody wear them with a denim skirt and ballet pumps. But then I was introduced to a whole new world where leggings simply became a warmer, more comfortable version of tights and I was won over.

However, as we move in to summer leggings are still hanging around in the shape of "short leggings". I might be wrong here, but aren't they cycling shorts?!
