I always found them a bit chavvy...but the casette ones are cool!

I wouldn't have chosen the word "ghetto" either..that in itself sounds like a sort of misconception.. as Frapp said above, I would also have said chavvy, not ghetto - sorry.

Whilst I appreciate your comment regarding the use of the word "ghetto" if you had ever watched Sex and the city you would realise that Carrie herself refers to it as "ghetto jewellery". I was not using the term in an offensive way and apologise if anybody was upset.

Please do forgive me if you thought I was being rude.. I really wasn't...or offended for that matter.. but someone like Carrie wouldn't exactly know ghetto herslef, so I'm simply saying it's no ghetto. thats all. Just because she says it does not stamp it as correct usage of terminology.

As a seller of name plate necklace jewelry I wouldn't consider name necklaces as ghetto- they are dainty and classic and perfect for young and old. While the Carrie name necklace makes up at least 80% of our sales- both in silver and gold, we have numerous styles and can do them in just about any languages making them widely popular worldwide.
