Well it's 2am and I'm up anyway so checked the Topshop site (just in case, y'know...) and it appears to be down already, so I guess I've no hope of ordering online, and my local Topshop isn't stocking it. boo hoo!

Come on then, what did you get?

I spent the night refreshing the topshop site. They closed the site for a while and left a note saying 'You're too early check becak at 4:30am'
Did I believe them? No. and quite rightly as they put the range up at 3.55am

I purchased all but one item (which isnt up for some reason) the beloved white dress.

Im now off to my local topshop to do some queing.

Hardcore? Me?!

It all looks so awful - tacky and cheap. I mean you could make toilet roll and say it was designed by kate Moss and these idiots would pay over the odds for it - have you got no self respect - and no ideas about your own style. At leaat with Stella, Karl, V & R at H+M you were getting a 'designed ' product - now with Madonna, kate and Lily its all just crap that stylists have told them........stop buying it ladies, its not good!!!! Do a nightcourse instead - in pattern cutting maybe - or read a book!!! But Stop with the wannabe stuff- its not clever!!!!!

I have to say, I think this collection is a big load of hype and not much else. I am very disappointed with the clothes. The only thing I like is the floral dress and actually seeing it up close makes me think it's not as nice as I thought at first, the colour looks a bit wishy washy compared to how it looked in the publicity shots. I think the yellow dress is horrid! And the waistcoat dress. Not to my taste at all.

The only thing I wanted was the cropped skinny jeans and when I logged on at 6 this morning after I'd got up for work (I wasn't that desperate for them to get up any earlier!), literally EVERYTHING had sold out in EVERY size. The power of hype, eh? Also, I don't want to be wearing something easily identifiable that loads of other people are also wearing. It's my worst nightmare to be in the same room as someone with the same dress as me! So I think it's a no from me.

Did anyone see the bags? I didn't like either the bag or the clutch that I saw in the press...

The press photos made the pieces look alot better than the actual pieces. But I guess that is the power of air brushing and prolly using nice fabric for their clothes. I was dissapointed by the quality of the pieces. The fit of all the items are really strange and I am 5'5 size 0 so most things fit. The dresses are really dissapointing. The are to big in some areas and just right in others. The materials used are also very cheap and for the price tag. You are better off going to French Connection and actually getting a nice dress.
Overall I would say some basic pieces are cute but not worth the hype. You don't want to spend the money on clothing that feel and smell like plastic just because it says Kate Moss and I am a fan.

I got up at 6am and it was all sold out - I know it's all hype but I am a sucker for a collective experience. I strolled into my local Topshop at 9am (Brighton) and got the tattoo dress which is lovely and great for holidays but overpriced at £60 and the red and black draped back T shirts which are well cut. Be warned internet shoppers - it doies come up BIG! I am a 16 and the T shirts were 12 and the dress 14. I really thought I'd get the poppy dress but I tried on the top (which comes up small!) and it felt tacky and cheap (which it isn't) I did like the metal coin waistcoat but at £45 I felt a bit like 'I/ve just come from my belly dancing class'. I have managed to order the corset top online and taken a chance on the 14 - all I want now id the grey metallic wrap top. I know I know it's all abig scam but it does make shopping fun and lets face facts - in 2 weeks we will have forgotton all about it (and 6 zillion girls will be floating around bar b q's in MY dress)

Something weird is going on. I bought the tattoo dress myself yesterday in London (as did several of my fellow shoppers) but it only cost us £45!

I thought it was weird when I looked at the website and it said it was £60. It's definitely the same dress.

Btw, I saw the studded messenger bag (more like a leather pouch with a long strap) and I COULD NOT believe it cost £80...

Thanks for that info - it does seem so overpriced to me for a bit of thin chiffon made in India, I have emailed TS and asked for a refund! Anyone else out there wants to join me?
