JLo isn't bothered about fur threats

Jlo.jpg

Latino singer Jennifer Lopez has been receiving death threats over her constant purchases of animal skins and furs. One animal rights activist threatened to "kill her in public, just like the slaughtered animals whose fur she wears".

JLo is said to be "unphased" by the threats although has increased security due to her husbands concerns. Fur has been an issue within the fashion and will probably continue to be for a long, long time.
A spokesman for activists PETA (who are not linked with the threats) say: 'All violence is wrong. But JLo needs to stop the real violence she promotes and subsidizes rather than give herself extra protection.'
Many designers shameless use animal products and fur in their collection, perhaps most notably Julien Macdonald who caused outrage earlier this year with his London Fashion week show.

Well, she's been warned. If someone does take her out, her friends and family cannot deny that it was HER choice.

Seriously i find anyone who opposes to fur are absolute tools. Unless all they buy is fair trade organic enviromentally friendly from a reliable and local source their "fur arguement" is an absolute load of b****cks compare to everything else in the world today.

It isn't beside the point at all, to me. My point is that the dimwit J lo knows that some very dangerous people are becoming very, very pissed off with her. She knows this. If she has been warned, and she doesn't heed these warnings, then tough luck if she gets her head smashed in.

Now, I wouldn't want this to happen to her, no way. I don't particularly care about the airhead. I don't think she's that important and I don't think she should be isolated as a target.

Victims aren't to blame. But J Lo would have courted her own destruction, through persisting in her barbarous activities, even after receiving warning. That was the case with the politician in Holland. He was warned, constantly and consistently, to stop pushing for fur farms. Is it his fault he was assasinated? probably not. Could he have prevented it? Certainly.

If anything was to happen to Jo lo, she wouldn't be to 'blame for it'. Nonetheless, she would have been able to prevent it. That she would, in that case, have chosen a pointless fashion statment - which she hardly needs to make, with her wealth and opportunity - over her life, just shows how meaningless her meaningless life was to her too.

I would have very little sympathy for her. Just as I have little sympathy with drunks who start fights and end up broken and busted in the gutter.

In case I'm misunderstood, I should point out that I regard Jo Lo as small fry.

Animal activists should leave her alone - the fur industry ins't going to rise and fall on whether a braindead s**head like JLo wraps herself in animal corpses.

Jo Lo is mostly a propaganda tool for big business AR groups like PETA (who seek scoops: "we made celeb X give up fur!"). Genuine animal activists should concern themselves with grassroots compaigns, educting consumers, not following Peta's agenda and chasing after 'scoops' that will give them publicity in celeb mags but not make a jolt of differebce for animals.

Nonetheless, I stand by my statment: if she was to be knocked off, I wouldn't lost a moments sleep. she's trash of the worst sort.
