Is Valentino getting ready to retire?
Given that he's 75 on Friday, I suspect most of us could probably find it in our hearts to forgive Valentino for wanting to kick back a bit. And if rumours are true, that could be exactly what he's about to do. It's the 45th anniversary of the Valentino label in July, and it's starting to look like the celebrations could go with even more of a bang than we originally thought, with rumours rife that Valentino will choose the occasion to step down from his position as designer, and make way for some new blood. While it'll be sad to see the end of an era for Valentino himself, though, I can't help but wonder just who he would consider good enough to fill those very stylish shoes of his?
